A Throttle position sensor or TPS sensor is a sensor used by the cars ECU to monitor the throttle position on modern fuel injected cars. The sensor is usually located on the butterfly spindle or shaft so that it can directly monitor the position of the throttle for proper fuel delivery and ignition etc. BBK Performance supplies a new throttle position sensor on most of their throttle bodies but if you have a stock or even aftermarket TPS sensor that is suspect and needs replacing then these direct replacement BBK Performance throttle position sensors are what you need to get your car running properly again.
