Ford 2023-2024 Models: Bronco Sport, Maverick, Mustang Mach-E

Affected Vehicles: Ford has issued a recall for 37,300 vehicles, covering the 2023 Bronco Sport, 2023-2024 Maverick, and 2023 Mustang Mach-E models.
Issue: There is a potential failure with the front windshield wiper motor, which could lead to inoperable wipers.
Solution: Ford dealerships will conduct inspections and, if necessary, replace the windshield wiper motor at no cost. Owners are scheduled to receive notifications on August 26th.
Cadillac Lyriq 2023-2024 Models

Affected Vehicles: General Motors is recalling 21,500 units of the 2023-2024 Cadillac Lyriq, particularly those equipped with all-wheel drive.
Issue: The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) may engage unexpectedly, which can lead to a reduction in brake pressure, heightening the risk of a potential crash.
Solution: Cadillac will offer a complimentary over-the-air update to fix the electronic brake control module software. Notifications to owners will be sent out starting September 23rd.
BMW 2019-2021 Models: X5, X7, 3 Series, 7 Series, 8 Series

Affected Vehicles: BMW is recalling over 105,000 vehicles, including certain 2019-2020 X5 and X7 SUVs, 2020 3 Series sedans, and 7 and 8 Series models from 2020-2021.
Issue: The engine starter in these vehicles might suffer mechanical damage, which could prevent the car from starting. Multiple start attempts could overload the starter, posing a fire risk.
Solution: BMW will update the software as required, free of charge, and owners will be notified on September 23rd.
Tesla Recalls 1.8 Million Vehicles

Affected Vehicles: Tesla is recalling more than 1.8 million vehicles, covering model years 2020-2024 for the Model Y SUV, 2021-2024 for the Model 3 and Model S sedans, and Model X SUVs.
Issue: The hood latch assembly may fail to detect when the hood is open, which means the driver might not receive a notification when the vehicle is in Drive mode.
Solution: Tesla has already issued an over-the-air software update, with notifications to owners scheduled for September 22nd.
